Day 6: Confession

Scripture: 
Psalm 32
1 How happy is the one whose wrongs are forgiven,
    whose sin is hidden from sight.
2 How happy is the person whose sin the Eternal will not take into account.
    How happy are those who no longer lie, to themselves or others.
3 When I refused to admit my wrongs, I was miserable,
    moaning and complaining all day long
    so that even my bones felt brittle.

• 1 John 1:9 But if we own up to our sins, God shows that He is faithful and just by forgiving us of our sins and purifying us from the pollution of all the bad things we have done.

Consider:

• What are the consequences of unconfessed sin? What are the results of confessing our sin openly to God?

• What sin do you need to confess right now?

Prayer focus:

• Spend some time searching your heart. Allow the Lord to reveal any unconfessed sin.
  • Then confess that sin to the Lord. 
• Praise God for his unconditional grace and forgiveness!
